 The working hours of the IT companies have more because of projects are regular(24/7). In core jobs you don't have any shift work unless it is a processing plant. But most of the time in this type of jobs you might have to stay late because some technical reasons or the other issue equipment in the plant.

7.Health:

As per the Health Condition both the jobs have it's own set of health hazard. In IT industry the mental stress level is high. In IT most common health issue is obesity and it causes the bad posture of body if you do not go for workouts. In core theis problem are alright. In the Core side jobs presence of air pollution and mixture of pollution gases cause due to the plant. It causes the general health hazards.
